  • The College Reads! is our freshman book program. Convocation is an annual celebration at which students and faculty gather to celebrate the official opening of the scholastic year.

View the Faculty Resources including the Faculty Handbook, Financial Handbook, and guidelines for proposing new programsThe Honors College expands on partnerships between faculty and student by creating a vibrant living-learning community where personal attention gives the support students need to reach their goals during and after college. The Honors College curriculum is rooted in the liberal arts tradition and challenges students to view the world from multiple perspectives. Honors students take about one-third of their courses through the Honors College – courses that are small, seminar style, and led by preeminent faculty members whose work is well known and respected among their peers.
  • Nationally Competitive Awards (NCA) helps students identify and apply for scholarships and fellowships for undergraduate and graduate study, independent research projects, and a variety of study abroad opportunities.
  • The Graduate School (The University of Charleston, South Carolina) offers over two dozen graduate programs that leverage the abundant natural resources found throughout the South Carolina Lowcountry to enrich our students’ experiences.
