The Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs is the chief academic officer of the College of Charleston and a key member of the President's senior staff.
The Office of the Provost is responsible for all academic activities at the university. Over 20 units report to the provost, including the College of Charleston's six academic schools, the Graduate School, the Honor's College, and the Libraries, as well as the Registrar, Academic Experience, International Programs, Undergraduate Research, Institutional Research, Institutional Effectiveness, Strategic Planning, and Academic Assessment. The Provost oversees academic programs, faculty affairs, and the College's academic support functions, and works to ensure that the College of Charleston fulfills its institutional mission and goals.
